Welcome to the Voice Care Network UK

The purpose of the VCN is to help people to keep their voices healthy and to communicate effectively. david-pic-aug-07-web-087.jpg Voice is important for everybody. We depend on it for everyday talk, but it is an essential tool of the trade for many jobs and professions. Voice develops naturally so a review of the stamina and efficiency of voice production for work such as teaching, preaching, in court, lecture theatre or call centre has benefits. map.gifThe VCN members share and disseminate information about the care, development and use of the speaking voice. As well as offereing Continuing Professional Development to our members, we provide bespoke workshops, seminars and coaching to clients. These are supported and reinforced by a small range of our own publications. Most members are voice teachers and speech and language therapists who specialise in voice, but membership is open to all adults interested in the speaking voice. About 100 highly experienced members form the Tutor Network, which is regulated by the Qualifications Committee. The Voice Care Network UK is registered charity number 1087751 and a company limited by guarantee number 4206066
