The BBC signed a Preferred Supplier Agreement back in 2003 for the VCN to deliver Voice Training to their re-speakers. Their job is to re-speak the news during each and every day so that it reappears as sub-titles for those who are deaf.

The VCN was recently approached by the British School of Journalism to provide a clear standard for the specialist skills required to deliver broadcast news and all forms of broadcast media.
